Guide to Supporting a Nonprofit

Worthy enables volunteers to connect and support nonprofit organizations.

When you support a nonprofit on Worthy, you are letting them know you are open to positions to help. Nonprofits can view your profile, message you and send you roles you may be interested in.  

How to connect and support charities?

You can search for, browse, and filter nonprofits via the Find Nonprofits tab of the volunteer portal. You can then view the profile of various nonprofits and review their causes, registration status and other information.

On the nonprofit profile, you can find a button to ‘connect and support’ the nonprofit. Clicking this button notifies the nonprofit of the connection and your willingness to support the nonprofit in the future.

What happens when you click support?

When you click to support a charity, you are letting them know you are open to receiving volunteer roles & opportunities from them in the future.

Can I withdraw my support?

You can remove your support for the nonprofit at any time and if your circumstances change.
